Mike is a Principle and the President of Collins Cooper Carusi Architects, an Atlanta-based architecture firm that provides design services to the recreational, hospitality, religious, educational and healthcare markets an award winning firm of over fifty dedicated professionals.
Much of Mike’s work over 30 years of practice has focused on the advancement of K-12 and higher educational planning and design for classroom buildings, dining halls, libraries, performing arts venues, student commons and athletic facilities. Since 1992 that work has included multiple projects for the Fulton County Schools ranging from renovations and additions to new elementary schools constructed throughout the county.
A 1983 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Mike is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the United States Green Building Council, a LEED accrediated architect and a founding member of CCCA, currently celebrating their twenty-seventh year in practice.
Mike is married to Paula Collins, who is a development manager with CURE Childhood Cancer, a local non-profit organization dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research and through support of patients and their families. Mike and Paula have two children, Haley (22) and Will (17), each of whom is active in sports and academic life.
